In life, we have no way of pressing pause. Life just presses on, despite our confusion, pain, and other emotions that keep us stagnant instead of moving in the right direction. Religious texts provide insight; however, an inability to highlight today’s issues in ancient texts often leaves us feeling disheartened and frustrated, even to the point of not bothering with faith at all. This is a mistake since our problems are often misunderstood and mistakenly tied to the wrong source. Naive, we believe that technology can create new problems for humanity; perhaps on the surface level, but emotionally and spiritually, our issues are usually recycled. In every era, these similar issues affect our health. Depending on the current culture and the technology within this culture, certain problems will be more predominant than others.
Regardless of these recurring human issues that pester humanity throughout existence, usually in the forms of temptation and madness which seem to be stapled to our souls, there is a way to bypass this spiritual DNA, and this involves learning once again how to feel good. Truly feeling good will inspire you to cling to health instead of toxic substitutes for pleasure or negative thoughts which fuel dishonesty. Choosing to feel good will help you produce better fruit in life, while embracing the recurring pitfalls of man and the practices that fuel these pitfalls only helps you operate as malfunctioning drones, making the same mistakes, unconsciously bringing poison into everything you do, from relationships to personal and professional projects. I will now discuss the first step of feeling good, which involves taking a look at your spirit. In this blog, we’ll explore insights from a wide range of sources, including current scientific research and teachings from various religious traditions. We recognize the diversity of beliefs and experiences and encourage participants to interpret the content in ways that resonate with their personal journey.
Part 1 Spirit
Our minds are like running streams connected to an ocean of bioelectricity that enables our mental functions. Historically, considering religion, this bioelectricity is capable of being tampered with by spiritual beings who wish to either negatively bend the wills of mankind, implant visions, or divinely inspire. For example, I'll include instances from the Bible, such as the visions of Daniel and John the prophet, and the possession of King Saul. In such examples, beings outside of our reality were capable of manipulating the minds of human individuals without physically being present.
Daniel and John, who’ve aligned themselves with righteousness, are able to interpret God’s plan for their lives and the lives of those they saved. On the other hand, Saul’s evil past causes a supernatural darkness to cling to him, which, since this was during a time before Jesus, could only be repelled through a beautiful melody from a harp played by David. Your moral alignment even today determines which source fuels the bioelectricity that directs our thoughts. The question now becomes, are you as moral as you think you are? Are your habits self-abusive? If so, are you willing to make sacrifices to end the abuse?
Like most of us, we have an idea of what we wouldn’t do to others. This idea is what allows us to pat ourselves on the back and call ourselves sane; however, reflect on this. Imagine you are a creation with aspects, like your spirit, over which you naturally have no direct control. Being human and spirit, one should acknowledge this other part of us as another, a comrade, a benefactor, a twin, a son or daughter. This part of you isn’t controlled by you because it’s connected to the source of life itself. It influences you, and you influence it. Since you wouldn’t poison yourself, why get drunk, since your spirit must also experience drunkenness. Would you expose an innocent to pornography against its will? If your spirit is connected to the pure source of life, then by exposing yourself to such content, you’re abusing an innocent.
Unchecked, this abuse shifts our moral alignment, and our spirits, which I believe take part in our overall vitality, become damaged, which in turn affects our health. Your spirit is what interprets the bioelectricity within our minds, providing our minds with translations of the energy streamed into us, forming our thoughts. Our moral alignment is what allows righteous or evil messages to stream through, as well as clear or jumbled thoughts.
Think about you as a child. Think about how it was likely easier to find rest, peace of mind, joy, connections with others. As we age into adults, we begin to do adult things. The objective of being awake is to shift what adult means. Often, adult is an adjective to describe graphic content or poisonous substances too inappropriate for the youth. Society wants you to believe that being an adult means that actions that align with what’s traditionally sun, is normal. However, I offer you a different view.
As a reader of this blog post, I wish to transform you into an adult spirit. What does this mean? It means now, instead of longing for the adult content you’re used to, you'll long for what's righteous, healthy, and beneficial for all. Shift your spirit's wants from ungodly pleasures to advancing yourself, mentally and physically. Upon doing so, you'll realize the intangible, invisible aspects of you begin to feel enhanced. Your mood will be better, as well as how you think, communicate, dream, and sleep. This only works, however, if you're willing to seal the cracks. What do I mean by this? I mean begin to make sacrifices.
Step 1: Investigate
In our lives, we often have hang-ups or things holding us back from being the best versions of ourselves. These could indeed be thought patterns; however, let's go deeper. Often thoughts are an automatic response to existing; however, as stated before, how we exist determines our thoughts.
There are times when something in our past that hurt us causes us stagnation in our current lives and exchanges with others. Often, these instances of trauma stay at the forefront of our minds not only because of their impact but also because in an effort to find a pleasurable way to recreate our instances of trauma, in hopes of finding a way to bring pleasure to a memory that brings pain, we unknowingly build upon the painful memory by adding layers of negativity to what’s already darkened. What’s the answer? Purity. Purity is beauty, and luckily defined.
Step 2: Apply Purity
This idea isn’t about being a saint. It's not about ignoring your attractions. This idea is about pursuing your longings in a healthy way. This means taking the extra time and effort to protect your memory and thought stream from what could keep you from feeling spiritually healthy. To reiterate, overall health is determined by your physical and spiritual well-being. Both impact each other and are impacted by each other. A healthier body and mind allow for our spirit, or the otherworldly energy we’re made with, to flow perfectly within us, healing us, protecting us, and guiding us.
Many spiritual traditions speak of the concept of darkness and 'evil spirits' and their impact on human well-being. We'll examine these ideas from an understanding of sin as actions that misalign with one's highest values, which can vary widely among different cultures and beliefs. Those who practice Tai Chi acknowledge a natural yet mystical energy that flows throughout our body, healing and strengthening us; however, it is disturbed and disrupted upon being impacted by harmful behaviors. Drawing parallels between the two, one can see how the Spirit of God that was breathed into the lives of mankind, which allows for a spiritual connection to the source of all, and a mystical energy believed in by Tai Chi practitioners, can be perhaps the same thing and also be referring to our spirit. Both are responsible for our well-being, can be influenced by our alignment and will, and can be strengthened based on our pursuit of purity.
Step 3: Defining Purity
You may be asking yourself at this point, what exactly defines purity? For the sake of a mutual understanding between author and audience, I’ll provide a definition I believe is fair and true to purity's common definition. Purity is innocent, seamless beauty. A pure action is without a moral contradiction. Operating purely as a person means operating genuinely, free from negativity, and in alignment with the calling of your higher self.
With the internet being a common tool, operating within purity has become more difficult, yet not impossible. Next, I will describe ways to bolster your inner armor through striving for purity within today’s world.
My first piece of advice in regards to bolstering your inner armor is to stop watching and putting yourselves in positions to see immoral acts of sex. Many spiritual texts discuss the impact of our actions, including sexual behavior, on our spiritual and emotional well-being. We’ll explore this topic with respect to diverse interpretations of morality and encourage reflective practices to align your actions with your personal values and beliefs. What’s become a normal method of sexual release without a partner is to masturbate, often to porn; however, this isn’t pure for many reasons other than the obvious. Often, porn sites require viewing acts of fornication and many other acts traditionally known as vile. These acts are defined as such by the God of scripture since they contradict the righteousness of the Holy Source that formed existence. Based on current research, porn has a negative impact on health, specifically sleep. Now consider that spiritual matters deal with intangible aspects of our lives, like our mood, sleep, and thoughts. Perhaps there’s a link between porn and poor sleep because of the effect it has on our spirit, which impacts our sleep. Since I’ve stopped, my mood and sleep have increased tremendously.
Often, it’s not as simple as just stopping, so here are my rules, which have helped me keep a cleaner slate. No matter what, I don’t support or follow individuals, platforms, or brands that support or display the exhibition or practice of fornication or sexual immorality (lustful misconduct, overly suggestive). Those who treat sex as if it’s not a gift meant exclusively for them and theirpartner should be ignored and cut off. Sex brings forth life, strengthens bonds, and is medicinal between two individuals who love each other; therefore, a pure lifestyle respects this aspect of the creation of life to the highest degree. In my life, this has meant shifting my attention from those who don’t value their beauty, to those who do know the importance and value of their spirits and beauty. There’s a big difference between seducers and beautiful creations, and how we approach these entities, as well as how much attention we pour into them, determines our spiritual well-being in the end. Let the objects of our affection also be food for our spirits.
There are other things which affect the mind, like hard drugs, substance abuse, a demonic lifestyle, and embracing hatred, but porn has become a huge issue affecting our health, without us knowing, due to its impact on the spirit's alignment with righteousness. Your senses should feed your spirit with nourishment you both enjoy. This journey isn’t about picking your poison; it’s about replacing the poison. Content restrictions on all platforms help tremendously. Use the internet versions of popular apps, however, removing oneself completely from Reddit and Twitter should be prioritized. Neither your fun nor your business should come at the price of your spiritual hygiene, and from my experience, porn is too predominant on these sites. Reduce who and what type of content you follow, until your lifestyle reflects constructive and loving behavior across the board. This leaves no room for contradiction, and further aligns your will with your spirit’s, which is for us to fall closer in line with the loving beauty of purity. Everything is a tool, however, when your tools for pleasure involve negativity, you’re compromising your spiritual hygiene, which will impact you in unforeseen ways, perhaps even affecting your sleep like it’s been recorded to, to others.
View paying attention as an actual transaction, and absorbing negativity causes you to operate with a negative balance. Paying attention with a negative balance will yield fewer results since, in a sense, you get what you pay for. When you have enough attention to give, and you aren’t hindered by trauma, you can absorb the full potential of the lessons we come across. As humans that learn, our capacity to learn is affected by patterns that are familiar; therefore, creating bad patterns will cause a ripple effect in the rest of your life when it comes to learning, since the patterns we create affect how we learn and communicate. By practicing a lifestyle of ignoring and maintaining a solid mental and spiritual filter, you’ll adapt to your bad patterns and create an inappropriate inner world to nourish the negative emotions you’re building upon with bad patterns. You’ll notice toxic behaviors and emotions even when unintentional.
Our bodies and minds must be temples for constructive images, thoughts, memories, and emotions, which are fueled by pure love and intentions, or else we risk creating a foundation that’s built around negative emotions, causing stagnation in terms of emotional maturity and spiritual growth. As you absorb content and information, ask yourself these questions; does this objectify anyone? Are my emotions being manipulated? Is this content helping me be a better person? What am I learning from this? Is this content aligned with my spirit’s intentions, which includes me feeling joy, love, and hope? If not, then you need to reprogram your entertainment.
Cinema, in general, seems to be obsessed with exposing you to sexual content. I’m telling you now it’s not simply for money. Filling our minds with sexual images until we’re numb to them, damages our spirits, which then affects our bodies, causing us to pay for more medicine and doctors in the end. Realizing the connectedness between what you expose your mind and spirit to, and your ability to heal and feel well physically and emotionally is key to understanding the power of the spirit. Strengthening your spirit means sacrificing. It’s a journey well worth it, considering the trash you dispose of. In this instance, we’re replacing negativity, like porn and immoral sexual images, with constructive behaviors, like dating, reading, learning, exercising, and communicating in fun ways with loved ones, within healthy environments.
As you make these changes, you’ll feel a new sense of power. You’ll recognize that your code is now comprised of pure love, and breaking it means abusing a spirit connected to pure love. Your morals shift, and the thought of the self-abuse you previously believed was harmless becomes a new aversion and topic to warn others about. You practice this lifestyle, and your creativity and awareness will increase. You’ll notice ways that emotions and health are hindered and manipulated in order to feed a system that relies on the continued sickened and ignorant state of society. Upon shifting yourself to align with your spirit’s intentions, you’re making it so the next individual you come across can potentially increase their awareness. Through this transformation, you become a beacon of love, purity, and beauty, and also become the enemy of popular culture, which promotes the objectification of women, and the praise of fornication, violence, lust, and all other types of spiritually and emotionally deconstructive material.
I invite you to reflect on how the insights from this blog can enrich not just your inner life but also manifest in your external actions and interactions. Recognizing the diversity of this community, I encourage you to adapt these lessons in ways that honor your unique path and the collective journey we share.
Just as you wish to live your best inner life, through fitness, you may also attempt to live your best outer life. Learning about proper nutrition, and avoiding empty calories, excess saturated fat, refined sugar, and sodium, is a start in terms of diet. However, a simple exercise routine, such as what could be found in my Course 1, will also allow you to continue developing into the best version of yourself.
As evidence suggests, proper blood circulation is key to better health. This is achieved through fitness and exercise. Considering how religion and ancient Chinese medicine both claim that a mystic life force is connected to blood, this should open a door in your mind which reveals the possibility of a link, and the importance of moving your body because of this possible link. As the spiritual life force connected to our blood is pushed throughout our bodies as our hearts beats, remember the connection between purity and spirit, and supercharge your healing abilities by vibrating higher, achieved through our pursuit of purity. Naturally, this supercharged life force, coupled with a strengthened spirit, empowers, heals, and guides us.
By embracing these changes and dedicating yourself to a lifestyle that prioritizes spiritual and physical well-being, you step into a realm of enhanced self-awareness, deeper fulfillment, and an enriched sense of connection with the world around you. You not only transform yourself but also influence those you interact with, creating ripples of positive change. This journey is not just about avoiding what diminishes us but actively cultivating what uplifts and nourishes our whole being. Let this be your guiding principle as you navigate the complexities of life, always aiming to align more closely with the essence of the purity, and supernatural healing energy we’re formed from.
